Trusted terminology
Find U.S. ICD-10-CM codes and a clearly identified subset of LOINC questions and observations. Check the original source before clinical use.
ClinicalTerm AI brings trusted terminology lookup, interface-ready identifiers, and transparent clinical reference calculators into one focused workspace.
Free account required for the workspace. No patient information. No generative clinical advice.
Search trusted NLM Clinical Tables sources and inspect code details.
Useful tools with clear sources, without mixing clinical reference work and integration tasks into one complicated screen.
Find U.S. ICD-10-CM codes and a clearly identified subset of LOINC questions and observations. Check the original source before clinical use.
Review LOINC details and copy HL7 v2 OBX-3 identifiers or standalone FHIR Coding JSON. No automatic mapping claims.
Use beta adult BMI, estimated BSA, estimated MAP, and fixed-unit conversion calculators with formulas and limitations shown.
Save commonly used codes locally in your browser, separated by signed-in account. Favorites do not sync between devices.
For clinical informaticists, application analysts, terminology specialists, and healthcare professionals who need a practical reference workspace.
Clinical reference only, not diagnosis, treatment or billing guidance. Current live terminology lookup is U.S. ICD-10-CM and limited LOINC. Other countries and SNOMED CT are not yet available. Clinical calculators are beta.
LOINC © Regenstrief Institute and LOINC Committee, under LOINC Terms of Use. NLM Clinical Tables provides terminology data.

Do not enter patient information. Registration does not authorize storing protected health information.
Choose a tool to get started. Keep terminology, calculators and saved codes in separate spaces.
You can permanently delete your ClinicalTerm AI login account. This removes your Firebase Authentication identity; it cannot delete data you may have submitted to external services. Do not enter patient data.
Configuration and release-readiness checks. No user directory, patient data, or analytics are collected.
Source checks have not been run.
Two search modes. Country-specific terminology. Verified sources, never silent code substitutions.
For educational reference only. No diagnosis or treatment guidance. Inputs are not stored or sent to the server. Do not enter patient-identifying information.
First calculate a result. The printed report includes entered values and units. Do not enter patient information.
Adult BMI is a screening measure, not a diagnosis or a measure of body composition. Not for pediatric BMI classification. Verify inputs and use clinical judgment. CDC adult BMI reference.
Mosteller formula: BSA (m²) = √[(height in cm × weight in kg) / 3600]. Estimates vary by formula and individual. Not for automatic prescribing, drug dosing, or treatment decisions. VA formula reference.
MAP ≈ diastolic BP + (systolic BP − diastolic BP) ÷ 3. This is an approximation that assumes a typical cardiac cycle and may be inaccurate with abnormal heart rhythms or heart rates. Not a measured pressure or treatment recommendation. Inputs are never saved. ACC/AHA blood pressure guideline.
Pulse pressure = systolic − diastolic blood pressure. Numerical reference only; do not diagnose or adjust therapy from this number alone. Inputs stay in this browser session. Pulse pressure reference.
Anion gap = Na − (Cl + HCO₃), using mmol/L. This is an uncorrected numerical calculation, not interpretation of acid-base status. Laboratory methods and albumin can affect interpretation. Do not enter identifying patient information. Anion gap reference.
Fixed conversions only: mass, volume, length, pressure, and temperature. No drug-dose conversion or analyte-specific mg/dL ↔ mmol/L conversion. Confirm units before clinical use; this does not interpret laboratory results or guide treatment. NIST SI units reference.
Estimate = 2 × sodium (mmol/L) + glucose (mg/dL)/18 + BUN (mg/dL)/2.8. Not laboratory-measured osmolality; does not account for all substances or replace osmolal gap assessment. No diagnostic or treatment guidance. ASHP formula reference.
QTc uses RR = 60 / heart rate (seconds). Bazett = QT / √RR; Fridericia = QT / ∛RR. QT entered in milliseconds. Results are formulas only; Bazett can over- or under-correct at heart-rate extremes, and irregular rhythms require specialist review. No risk classification or medication advice. NCBI QTc reference.
Race-free 2021 CKD-EPI creatinine equation, adults age 18+. Uses standardized stable serum creatinine, age, and a sex-specific published equation coefficient. Results in mL/min/1.73 m². Not validated here for acute kidney injury, children, pregnancy, or unusual muscle mass; confirm against your lab and clinician. No automatic CKD staging, diagnosis, or prescribing. National Kidney Foundation formula.
Cockcroft–Gault estimated creatinine clearance in mL/min, not body-surface-area indexed and not interchangeable with CKD-EPI eGFR. This basic variant uses entered actual body weight and may be inappropriate in obesity, unusual body composition, changing creatinine, or other special populations. Do not use as automated medication-dosing advice. FDA formula reference.
Saved codes stay on this browser and are separated by signed-in account. No search history is stored.
Select a supported healthcare system and search a term or code.
Official descriptions and codes in a readable layout. No automatic diagnostic decisions.
Code-centric results, provenance, source system and copy actions.
